I DO like the international sound check (or engineer) day.

"One, two......One, two,........One two.".....
While there are yells form the audience of "WALLY !"

I love the 'myth' of where that audience cry originated. ;)

Being exlighting tech, I thought that response was traditionally from the follow spot operators!

Allegedly Lemmey, it was from a festival (maybe Glastonbury) where, during an interval between the groups on stage....some chap went around searching, and calling for his mislaid dog.....Who's name was Wally.

The audience joined in with multiple choruses of "Wally"...and that's supposed to be where it started.
Could be a complete myth.....But I like the idea. ;)
Cheers - Phil.

Just thought I'd mention it!

It was my birthday and my other halves mad anunt pointed out  I was 48  4+8 =12. so I should buy some lottery tickets.  I duly did this spending £7.  I won 5.68 so actually a loss - Never listen to a mad aunt  :)

Hmmm, that's strange.  :-\

7 - 5.68 = 1.32, i.e. 11 x 12, not 12 x 12. Then again, 3 = 2 + 1, so 1.32 could still be 12 and 12.  =)

Maybe you should have bought 12 tickets?  :D
