Aye.  Says more about the players than the game though eh?

I see over at the BA forum there's a lot of 'check out my army list' topics.
I look at them and think, 'do you know anything about the various forces of WWII?   :o ;D

'Yo dude, we put an assault rifle on your assault rifle so you can fire your assault rifle while you fire your assault rifle'

There definitely seems to be a GW/40k/tournament cheese crowd who are into the rules.

We've used them so far for scenario play with historical OOBs so don't have that problem.

'Medics cannot attack, but will fight to defend themselves if attacked in close combat' is a simple house rule or amendment to add.
As is, 'medics are considered friendly units for all combatants when shooting or determining shooting line of sight'.
You could make exceptions of course, e.g. Waffen SS units will shoot at medics...the unconscionable blighters.   >:(

'Competitive players' can ruin any ruleset, no matter how good :(.
