Any chance of some more feedback on these mikec? I quite like Rank & File and I might be interested in these... :-\

Yes, I've read them through and they seem well sorted - as you would expect from Dave Brown. Not sure they'd fit into the two-and-a-half-hour timescale, though.  :-\
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Another vote for DBN. However you can use Volley&Bayonet too. We use same armies with both rules. And with 6mm and 10mm you can make each base a small diorama.

:D :D :D :D :D

V & B is great too, it's where my 1870 lit started before Black Powder. I'd in back to it like a shot he our club would too!  ;)

I must say that the most fun I have had in years playing various Nappy rules has been with the DBN set of rules by KISR. When doing a 1 vs 1 battle with the basic army per side, games very rarely go to the 2 hour mark.  When we push the game up to three basic armies per side with either 3 v 3 players or 1 v 1, games could last up to the 2  1/2 hour mark. We use the Attrition version and have had loads of great games.  I use these rules for my summer wargaming classes to middle school kids and they catch on real quick about how the rules work.  Just my 2 cents worth  :D
