It'll be a Warmaster Ancient army for me. And probably some terrain.  :)

I'm hoping for a nice set of 10/15 mm elevated roads in silicon.  Expensive stuff, but sinceI have purchased a few silicon  hills, there's no way back, silicon stuff is great and looks great.

Well I now actually know what I'm getting for Xmas, as my partner bought me some OOP North American Combine miniatures for OGRE from a friend who had a need to divest himself of excess, due to emigrating to the USA.
Unlike some people, I feel under no obligation to pretend that only one war-gaming scale is true, and that any others 6mm/10mm/15mm/25mm are mistaken; or that I know better than people themselves what is right for them to use. The point is precisely for all war-gamers to decide for themselves.

I've got more chance of going a date with Kylie Minogue than getting any gaming-related gifts from SWMBO.....

And buying stuff for myself is just cheating/a little sad...

Perhaps there's a niche here for a service that takes a general order, chooses a specific item and sends it to you gift-wrapped, marked "with love from Santa"?  :-\
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Hey Dave,  If that saddens you, maybe we can swap?  I'll have Kylie, and you get a nice set of elevated silicon roads :)

I'm rather hoping for a large gift of motivation!!! that way I may get to start/finish the gazillion assorted Pendraken figures that I've bought over the past couple of years before I start buying more!! :)

Nosher

One of either the Star Wars XWing miniatures game and a few add on packs or a Dux Britanarrium Romano British force from Gripping Beast.

The very first wargaming gifts I have EVER had from my wife/family.  :-[

Now if it were the former, what do you think are my chances of getting in a game on Christmas day?
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Nosher,
Since I'm getting it for Xmas too, there must be a way we can get a game! ;)

A few unexpected expenses over the last few months means no goodies for Xmas for me :(. Kids and wife come first at this time of year. Mind you it's not as if I don't have enough stuff in the attic as it is!

I've asked Santa Harwood for an ACW army, but not sure if he'll bring me one. It's on the list ...  :-$

Ok, I managed to forget / lose the address of the company I got the silicon hills from at Crisis, and where I wanted to order my elevated roads from.  Does anyone know what manufacturer it is, where I can get those silicon (flexible) terrain pieces?

Tanks in advance  :D
