The whole lot.

Infantry 'Fana' deployed.

Off working on other scales for a wee while but as Arnie said 'I'll be back.'

They look really good.

What era is this army for, late 1500s, I'm guessing?

What pack is the drummer with the pikes from?

The pikes and drummers are from the Elizabethan range.  The period is loosely the reign of Gustavus Vasa 1523-1560.  I say loosely because the figures I used are a real mixed bag, from late medieval to Elizabethan English to Polish and 30 Years War.  Information on the period in Sweden is sketchy to say the least and I've only been able to find a couple of generic illustrations.  I mainly went for representing the troop types they used rather than attempt an accurate historical match-up all round.

Now if Leon can arrange some early Renaissance crossbowmen and do a swap of the right arm and weapon from the 30YW mounted arquebusiers to the Elizabethan demilancers, this lot would look better. :P

The overall look certainly works well.

The arm swap for the cavalry sounds doable - Phil??

For crossbow men, have you looked at the GW Empire figures, they are available pretty cheaply on eBay. Although they are cast in strips they can be cut apart very easily to allow you to pick ones that are in the right style of costume, as they seem to span several historical periods.

Doesn't sound too difficult...I'll need to check the figures themselves...
Up to that nice Mr Leon, I guess. ;).....Or do you want to have me make them as a personal project for yourself SV ?  ;)
Cheers - Phil.

Phil, that's very tempting and I appreciate the suggestion.  However I think it'd be better as a range figure, as it could double as a Reiter and anything else anyone wanted it to represent.

They could still be added to the ranges, if you contact Phil, he can run through the process.
