What figures to use for Spanish in AWIish

Any suggestions what figures to use for Spanish? I already have the French so was hoping to use something different. Do the SYW figures match  and if so any suggestion?

I would debate whether to use AWI Brits or Americans as i have been to  a AWI reenactment and the Spanish troops had uniforms that looked like a cross over between both US and British uniforms

If you are depicting the Galvez Expedition against Baton Rouge and Pensacola then you can probably use the AWI American Militia. At least 50% of the Spanish forces were drawn from the New Orleans and Acadiana area. For the Spanish regular troops you can probably use the early American Continentals? There probably wasn't too much "uniformity" in their uniforms.

It would be best to go to London Wargame Room (they have 25mm Spanish SYW, which are ok) and to search the web for uniform information, especially the reenactors. Neither ordinary (french, english , austrian or Prussian) SYW or AWI works well. The Spanish uniforms are fairly unique.
