I just got the Panasonic txp50x50b TV. It's got no noise.

I've tried the mute buton, volum and menu stuff, no joy.

My thoughts are, do I need an external speaker?

My question I suppose is, dose that tv have internal speakers? Thanks

I'm not finding that model number on the panasonic website..

If it has a tv tuner in it, it should have speakers. I'd check mute and volume controls in the menu.

.... Mmmm, can find a shop setting. When I first put the TV on it asked, shop or home use and I chose home.

It will be one tiny button to set and were sorted.... Very anoying!

Cinema system works as it has it's own speakers. Watched the first part of saving privet Ryan (beach landings, not him crying over the grave)

On 50inc with surround sound, I now have shell shock!

It's the veira. I've checked the volum and mute both on remote and through setting.

It does have the inbuilt digi and I have no sound from it or the separated digi plugged in via scart.

My Viera does that as well, expect it at random intervals from now on, just power down wait 30 secs power on and its sorted.

Cracking TV by the way.

We've got a Panasonic as well, and it's been pretty good so far.  We had to send it back after a couple of months to fix a loose wire in the speakers, but other than that it's been great.  The only problem is it refuses to remember which Input we like it on, so whenever you turn it on, we have to manually switch it to the HDMI input source.  Not the end of the world though!

Leon, your ALWAYS at the workshop any way. If you only switch you TV on for Birthdays and Christmas its bound to forget.

To be honest I usually don't watch a lot of TV it's all films and I have a Samsung cinema system and it has it's own speakers. That's right, 50inc TV surround sound.... I'm living the dream.
