Does that dam' series about the Borgias get anything right?
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

I've never bothered with that one myself, when it first started I already had enough to watch with other series.  I have been tempted on occasion, but don't have the time to play catchup.

Which one?  I find the Canal+ series called "Borgia" a bit more acceptable.  The American Jeremy Irons one, not so much.

That's the one. Mr Irons' voice makes up for the constant historical gibberish.

The costume (except the military, of course) is not bad; the music is pretty much on.  Both better in "Borgia" but, hey.

Both series would be done a great favor if the entire European supply of Morions and Burgonets were quietly concealed until they have finished production.

Zadok the Priest at a cinquecento investiture? It's like have the Rolling Stones with Gordon in Khartoum!

In fact, it was still quattrocento. More like having the Stones at Rossbach!

I know the Stones are getting on a bit....But I didn't realize they were that old.
Did they manage to get any sort of recording of the gig ? ;)
Cheers - Phil.

Forgot that (or blocked it out), but the solo lute was fair enough.

Mind, I have no intention of watching the next series.  Borgia is far more fun.
