Grenzers done; tomorrow sees Maria Theresa's general staff under the brush, and probably the Emperor's hussars.

It's the curse of the gaming classes  :)

Leman

Did Maria Theresa encourage her generals to get under the brush, or have I misunderstood this?

Oh, no, they'd do it secretly in the park at Schönbrunn palace.

How do you change a typeface?

How do you change a typeface?

I presume you need Comic Sans loaded as a font to see that properly.
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Nothing done for a few weeks due to the normal demands of work and real life. Family away on holiday for 10 days soon so hope to catch up on stuff...

You have my sympathies Steve ;)

I've been having a real painting glut this year however I am beginning to become very bored with the drudgery of painting which I absolutely loathe. Tomorrow is my last day off before two more shifts at work followed by the best part of three weeks off, two weeks of which I'll be spending with the family in France.

Wargaming is strictly off limits whilst I'm away. I even get pilloried if I so much look at a forum or online shop. I thoroughly enjoy myself when away but have noticed that when I get back my mojo for wargaming is low. Not necessarily a bad thing - too much of a good thing isn't always healthy!
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Oh, you still here?
Just done an hour on details for a unit of Cossack light horse. First painting in almost two weeks...

Emperor's hussars are waving their sabres and rubbing paprika into their kolpaks. Now starting work on the Bethlen hussars in turn.

Techno

Mucho industrial language at Techno Towers last night.

Not sure if I've done terminal damage to the Dremel.....But it's definitely a very unhappy bunny.
If I'm very lucky, it just needs a damn good clean inside, to get rid of all the white metal 'dust' that must have built up inside, through grinding down so many of the Warband figures.....But it felt as though it was getting extremely hot last night, and I fear I may have partially (?)burned (burnt ?) the motor out.

Tried to take it apart...and failed.....But thanks to a youtube video (in Russian) I've looked at this morning, I now know what 'extra thing' I need to do so it comes apart easily.
The 'extra thing' is quite sneaky ! I would never have thought of that !  X_X

If I can't repair it, I think the old Dremel is in the attic......And though not perfect, (pain in the botty, to change the bits and burrs) it'll be usable for a couple of days before I can get a new one.

Wish me luck !

Cheers - Phil

Keep the disinfectant and tourniquets handy, and have the cauterising iron hot.

Uh oh!

And in other news, I finished the Polish light horse, four stands I'd Polish generals and a Samurai general I've been putting off for ages,

Poles varnished. Bunch of Romans undercoated.

No neat files for those Romans then.
