44 bases edged and pva washed tonight. Hopefully get them flocked tomorrow. Also got some highlights on the pikes.

Received a mass of road/river sections from Supreme Littleness to populate the 2mm Langensalza battlefield. Laid out the road network last night to determine what needed painting immediately. Also received a selection of thicker round and oval bases to use for creating hills, woods and marshland.

Mostly caused by the weather being too naff to varnish for three weeks in February, left me with an awful backlog.

Slight derailment to the current painting project. Turned up at my "back-up"* Hobby shop today and ..... it was shut, no longer trading, deceased! 
I then went to my favourite art store - also shut, ceased trading, deceased! 

Oh well, at least there's Pendraken. One order coming up, Leon.

* (my "first choice" shop ceased trading about 18 months ago)

Those 44 bases were flocked, scattered and clumped tonight.
Just 6 unit flags and three name labels to add; then magnetic and final varnish.

The 30 variants of the Dragon Men men at arms archers nearing completion.

Also just started working on the mounted figures for the Dragon Men, using the new fantasy horse dolly.
(Two for the command.....Three 'super dollies' for the knights.)

Must check what the knights are supposed to be armed with !!!!!.....All lances ?......Or various weapons ?

Having to tweak the horse slightly (with the dremmel)........I made its 'bum' a tad too wide. Just enough to make it appear noticeably bigger than the 'elven' horsey....Though, height wise, it seemed about spot on.

This evening I've been trying to avoid super-gluing myself to a cocktail-stick; pasta trunk; or the reindeer-moss foliage whilst assembling my sci-fi trees...

With some Italian tankettes almost finished, I've spent the morning sorting out the storage for my complete Italian BKCII Battlegroup. Quite suprising how much stuff I've got when they are all in one box. The plan is to do this for some of my AVBCW forces so it speeds setting up and putting games away.

Slight mojo problem owing to this 2mm project. It's going to be much bigger than I thought given the towns, villages, water courses, marshes, hills and roads I need to prepare. The terrain is laid out but much still needs painting, bases need paste applying and so on. I like what I've done so far, but it is slow and I can see it taking another couple of months. Good job there is plenty to play with down the club.

Varnished some additions to my Italian and AVBCW forces. Having recently finalised my OOBs for each faction, I am in the process of adding little bits'n'bobs to finish them off. So tonight a recce unit for the Police and a prime mover for the BUF. More stuff to follow.

Nearly finished three units of 30 hajduks each and started on my first 15 figure unit of husaria -they will be finished when the command packs arrive. then I will take some pictures.

Now getting stuck into more 2mm terrain, some of which will suit other scales, particularly the marsh and water courses.
