Casualty figures for all ranges

It seems a number of rules sets use (Or can use) casualty figures, and others, as markers of some sort.  Now a lot of ranges already include officers or firing figures which can serve, but in this period only the French and Prussian armies have casualty figures.  I have hundreds of these, but they don't really serve for Bavarian, Saxons, Austrians or Italians.  Is it too much to ask for a few to attach to existing ranges?

The following might cover most of what is required:

Casualty in greatcoat with shako - 1866 Austrians and Italians;
Casualty in tunic/kittel with shako - 1859 Austrians and Hanoverians;
Casualty in tunic with soft peaked cap - 1866 Saxons and Bavarians;
Casualty in tunic and Raupenhelm - 1870 Bavarians.

Maybe this list could be shortened still further to:

Casualty in greatcoat, bareheaded;
Casualty in tunic, bareheaded.
Anyone else support this idea?

Casualty figures are good!

There are a few in different ranges, but some more would be good. The AWI casualties come with a hat sprue which might help with making some more generic figures which can be configured by the purchaser. I dont know about the logistics of this, though, so it may be easier to have distinct figures?

I'd be up for it, as long as I don't tread on peoples' toes.
Still got a couple of 'forum members' projects to do first though !

Are we getting casualty figures in the new ACW range?

Yes we are - just found them again as codes 45-48  - yet to be released but on the way - thanks chaps!

Techno, Leon,

I'd be up for "sponsoring" the production of these figures.  I want to make my games look as good as possible, and these sort of figures are so much better than dice or tiddly winks.  Peter Pig make a great range of markers in 15mm for F&F, and it would be great to see Pendraken do something similar for 10mm.   The six figures mentioned would, with the existing French and Prussians,  effectively cover the vast majority of late 19th century armies, and I'd like to hurry them along!  I aim to do Koniggratz pretty soon, and I need a lot of Austrian disorder markers for that - the shakoes for the line, and the bareheaded for the Jagers.  The existing officers, singly mounted, make good rallying or charge markers (need a lot of the latter for the Austrians!), any  ideas for short of ammo markers?

Smallish, say equivaent of 400 x 200 x 200 mm. Thats the sort of size for a modern ammo box - 500 rounds and damned heavy.

...such as Mahdists, Abyssinians, Tuaregs, Victorian colonials, Turks, Bornu, Egyptians, Basothos, Zulus, Malagassies, Bengalis, Sikhs, Jats, Afghans, Burmese, Ghurkas, Taipings, EVA, Imperialists, Boxers, Boers, the Kelly gang, Maoris, Dayaks, Brooke's army, Lakota, Apache, Peruvians, Argentinians, Garibaldists....amazing what six figures appear capable of!

FK,

I see why they call you "fierce".  You are of course, completely correct.  I should have demonstrated my own selfishness more clearly by indicating I was willing to finance these for the Armies (European) that I am interested in.
