Hi all,

I've been lurking on the forum for the last couple of months, mainly trying to decide what period to kick-off my foray into 10mm.
Really enjoy the range of topics discussed and looking forward to adding my tuppence worth.
I have finally decided on ACW prompted by an interest in the period and the great looking Pendraken figures. Have played F&F in 15mm - but sold off most of my figures when I returned to full time education. I'm looking to build up forces for both sides of the 'war conducted by amateurs' (W. McElwhee). Just about to order my first lot of figs and hope to pick them up at Claymore.
Cheers for now.

Welcome Scotty.

F&F is always a good place to start.  Best ruleset ever written.  Perfect for its period.  And using Pendraken 10mm figs will make it look awesome too!

Hello and welcome

I have also just started in 10 mm and also just started in ACW plus a few other periods :)

The forum here pointed me to Fire & Fury and that is what I am doing - the original one - brigades.

Thanks for all your messages.

Although not a regular, I popped in last Tuesday and am happy to report that the Aberdeen Club grows from strength to strength.
I chose my username as I can also see 'Scolty' from ma bothy!
Heading off to London for a week to the Olympics - hopefully a wee trip to the bookshops in Charing Cross Road?. Will be back for Claymore on the 4th to pick up what will be, I'm sure, the first of many orders!

Cheers
