Thanks Dougie, i will give that a try.

By the way as an aside how did you do your FFL paras? I have had some of these guys since they came out but have struggled to get the right effect with them.

Cheers,
Steve.

Looking for some airsupport for my Argentine Forces I really wanted a 1/144th Pucara and I've found one. Its from a company called AIRALEX out in South Carolina, USA
http://airalex.homestead.com/PUCARA.html
These are one piece resin castings and it'll require careful painting but Alex has got the shape bang on and I'm really pleased with it. Ordering was no problem and he even does a nice little decal sheet as well! Dougie

Think Revell might, they certainly do F4's, F14's, A-10's, Tornados and assorted other beasts.

Depends which model you want. Sea Harrier is fairly common http://esm.wikia.com/wiki/Crown_1/144_BAe_Sea_Harrier_FRS.1

Dragon do a GR5 (they say).

Dragon also do a Vulcan B2 http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/prodd.asp?pid=LNRL1001

Greetings

I tend to do air support in a smaller scale than on the table so 1/300 for 10mm.  If I get round to the Falklands then it'll be easier as well with £1 Harriers and £0.80 Pucara from Heroics and Ros.

Work started on my Argentine AML90s  :) I have a set method for 20mm vehicles which I've altered slightly for 10mm. The photo below shows where I'm at. The vehicles cleaned up, primed and the cammo applied and then modulated. the vehicle on the left has had a filter applied. This is quite a subtle technique, the photo doesn't really show it but basically it unifies and gives depth to the colour. Might be a bit anal in this scale but I like it  :P I'll illustrate the next stages with some close ups! Dougie

Do you spray the camo or is it brushed on?

Well a bit of a tale, aitbrushed the base on and was going to use my normal technique with whitestuff masking then spray the next colour. This vehicle was a wee bit small so the tan is just brushed on  :)
