Anybody got these rules and how do you rate them?

Who carries 'the line' (rulesets and supplements) in the UK (Found Raiden Miniatures but little else)?

Does the system use hex mats? if so where can I get a hex mat in the UK?

Thanks in advance ;)
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Northstar sell the full range

And yeah it uses a hex mat...I think the orders are like Blue max
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Played them once Nosher, but played Bag the Hun several dozen times, I think that pretty much sums up my rating of them. I found all the preplotting far to much for my feeble old brain, that and the fact that unless you know the rules backwards your pretty much running a single plane. BtH on the other hand after a couple of games handling a flight of 4 planes you've got a handle on the rules good enough to fly an entire squadron a side with a good sized bomber stream getting in the way.

Hex mats in the UK are just way overpriced, I believe its still cheaper to get them from Eric of Hotz mats in Canada, and it doesnt take that long even by surface mail.

Played them once and they seemed fairly entertaining. The hexes give a sort of "chess" feel to the game. Not unduly complicated if you're used to hexes.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Have to agree with this.  Eric Hotz isn't the speediest at replying to email queries but once you've made your mind up and placed an order the service is excellent all round.   :)

Hi Nosser

Just seen your post have played Check your six loads of times and when you are trying to shoot down veteran Japanese in there Oscars and you are in a Buffalo escorting Martin bombers never had so much fun yes you have to log your move but they are easy rules to use and I have enjoyed them my mate mark has bought the entire British and Japanese airforce for the Far east with the odd Flying tiger nothing better.
