Having been a mainly 15mm WWII wargamer for many years I've always been tempted by tens.  Basic attraction being their combination of  affordability and detail.

With the forthcoming release of the Charlie Don't Surf Vietnam rules from Toofatlardies I've decided to take the jump and have just placed an order for two army packs from Pendraken.

Thought I'd join the forum.

I still have quite a bit of 15mm kit, but I too have moved over to 10mm for the reasons you give Derek. Just be warned, the sheer range of stuff combined with affordability is very, very dangerous to your bank account ;).
