I would like to paint  up some figures ,but cannot find any uniform details (nothing on the excellent "Project SYW"site) .Does anyone have the "Armies and uniforms of the SYW" vol 2 by James Woods?  Thanks.

Zbigniew

Hello, I have made two units for Hastenbeck. Made them of Prusian figures and painted them as they are on Junior General Paper Soldiers site. Just type "junior general" in google and chose first or second result. I dont know what the author source was but I think they are pictured correct.
You also have one unit here:
www.grosser-generalstab.de/sturm/sturm132.html
the middle picture in upper row

and the flags here:
www.warflag.com/flags/syw/sywreichs6.shtml
these were tough to paint  :) I didnt even try to paint the Virgin Marry

I hope It helps,

Zbigniew, you can print the flag, not paint it.

Hi Ossy, try looking under leuthenjournal.com or befreiungskriege.wordpress.com/ . The Leuthen Journal has lots of diffrent uniform sections and links and the other one has a whole set of Knotel uniform plates, you may find what you are looking for in these.

Hi Ossy,
Don't know if this will answer your particular enquiry but there's lots of useful and interesting SYW stuff on this site http://nba-sywtemplates.blogspot.com/

Ossy

Not sure if you have managed to find what you want, but if not I have the Pengel & Hurt booklet covering the Palatinate and would be happy to help.

Hmm.  When I go to Kronoskaf's Seven Years War project I find a complete section on the Palatinate, complete with uniform details.

Then again, the original post is from 2010, so some bits may have changed since then.

Does anyone ever read the small print in forum posts??
