I've just returned from Japan - eat your hearts out, folks! - where model railway shops carry a line called Tomy-tec; scale-compatable. I bought some bathing nymphs, who are finally going to allow me a little tabletop onsen in a BUA, but they do quite a bit more; I may be sending away for some sumo chaps for my baggage, and shall certainly be buying a mikoshi and a temple belfry. Little odds and ends which it wouldn't be worth our hosts' while to make, but which any gamer with a Japanese army must covet.

Ooh yes - very nice indeed - thanks for the heads-up  :)

A LOT cheaper if you can order them direct from the company.

I've just been looking at their site, but my Japanese is a little rusty!  The translation doesn't work too well either unfortunately.

Japanese are so helpful, I shouldn't wonder if a friendly sushi chef were game to lend you a hand.
