But hey! I'm getting stifles for being too 10mm! As if that's possible!  :D  Personally, I don't let scale get in the way of enjoying the period.

Funny thing, every time I go to TMP it's closed for maintenance. Think they're trying to tell me something....
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

I looked a couple (?) of days ago and it was OK then.....But Ray's right...It does seem to shut for maintenance an awful lot of the time.

TMP is closed for maintenance daily - on a time slot that makes sense in whatever time zone TMP is located in but irritatingly is about 8-9 am UK time, so most people's morning coffee and TMP doesn't work  :D

I've put up a blog post about the cemetery at Essling before I start on the model:

Bit isn't amazing how these places become foci of attention in the minds of historians, compared to the rest of the battle, one small, defendable enclosure becomes a honey trap...

So they actually fought in the cemetery? Surely that's bad luck haha.

Great blog by the way! Very informative and brilliantly painted miniatures! Definetly going into the napoleonic years once I've finished my zulu project!

WeeWars

Thanks, Dan.

There was very lengthy fighting at the church and graveyard at Aspern, the next village. The defendable solid walls of a cemetery invited occupation. And created a focal point for troops and, as Will says, historians, too.

Makes sense when you put it like that..but still, it's a graveyard haha. Suppose in times of war no ones really going to care haha.
