Just a hint, put the TBM buildings through the dishwasher first, occasionally you get a building where the paint flakes off. A base coat of pva mixed with paint helps too!

Fantastic, I got so hooked, I have been googling N gauge train sets all night,
dunno how I get one in my suitcase though....Doh, last time I built a train layout was 1982 for my son in ho scale..
that was a great challenge....

Hi Marie, nice to hear from you.

Start with flexible track, it's great. It's so much easier to fit in with your plans – and your suitcase! You don't have to bother with straights and curves. Can be cut with snippers. I got a quantity cheap on eBay. Mind you, I'm only interested in static trains for WW1.
