Can I suggest aquarium floss as a better substitute for cotton wool? Much more "wispy".
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

Never tried that. I use various grades of wire wool. Good starting colour and holds its shape.

I agree. I tried to avoid quoting the catalogue: "Dead horse markers". Perhaps could be changed to "Horse Casualty Marker x 5"?

Nice mappage, interesting post regarding the Hussars, what do you intend to do about them? :-\

Hi Michael,

The blog just goes from strength to strength.  :)

A great deal of your work would fit well in the pages of Wargame magazines. Perhaps a way to make money to buy more troops.  :-\

Cheers, Rob  :)

WeeWars

Thanks, Rob, very kind of you to say so.

I'd be up for that – and any design work too, thanks ;D.
I'm not sure how interested the big boys are in my antics, though. I've only ever seen one link to my site - on TMP to a  comparison of 10mm figures page.

I've just found both your blogs and would like to express my admiration for your excellent work. I'm probably doing a WW1 Middle East project next year, but am still not sure whether to plump for 10 or 15mm.
