That's a great looking set up, Austrians always look so crisp. Good to see your balancing terrain work with figure painting too. I've all to often concentrated on preparing armies only to fight on barren tables.

What base sizes have you gone for?

sam scott

The 2 rules sets I'm targeting are Lasalle and Black Powder, neither of which are particularly fussy about base size, so I went with the look I liked and what I had on hand.

Infantry are 1" x 3/4"

Skirmishers are 1" x 1/4"

Cavalry are 1 1/4" x 1"

Artillery are 1 1/4" x 1 1/4"

Officers are mounted on pennies.

Greetings

So infantry battalions are 6 bases of 8 figures in 2 ranks?  You managed to get four figures frontage per 1" base?

Yes. It's tight, but I like the dense look.
