I've started to look at the campaigns in Flanders during the War of the First Coalition as a possible 10mm project.

Now while there are some irritating, and frankly inexplicable gaps, in the Revolutionary War French range they provide a decent base to work from.

But when I came to the Allied side- which includes (at least) British, Austrian, Prussian, Russian, The Netherlands , Dutch, Hannoverian and Hesse- I was surprised to see an almost complete lack of figures. To be fair there is an incomplete range of Austraians which may be useful. But then again perhaps I'm missing something.

So if anyone has tackled this era and has some advice to pass on I would appreciate it.

PS I don't get the business thinking about producing an army but not it's natural enemies- I can't see what drives the demand. I'm thinking the Revolutionary War FRench here but there are other Pendraken examples- the French Foreign Legion lacking Arab/Rifs/Berbers/Senussi come to mind

The French Revolution range is a bit of an anomaly, as it was designed specifically for someone, but they didn't tell us they didn't like the figures until we'd progressed quite far into the range.  In the end we never finished it off as it wasn't financially viable at the time to continue it.  Funnily, the same person wants us to do another French Rev range...

There's been a lot of discussion about a new Revolutionary range, and it's something we'd like to do, but it has to wait until Clib has finished the AWI and LoA projects first.
