I think we have all been there to a greater or lesser extent before :o ;). I think the one down side of playing at a club is the speed with which games go out of fashion, often a few months after *everyone* started playing them. I had not intended on buying any more rules but I must admit that I am very tempted by the new Maurice rules.

I couldn't agree more, wargamers can be so fickle. Plus if you're a slow painter by the time your force is ready everyone else has moved on to the next big thing. :(
