Vietnam Project is go!

This project is progressing nicely and is tempting me to try some CWC Vietnam .

I am pretty sure at some point I will add some vehicles and stuff, that way it will fit for Charlie Dont Surf and CWC.

Just got the choppers and M113 ACAVs to paint now. Oh and the paddy fields, then I had better write the campaign!

A couple of Timecast hooches. Trouble is they look twice the size of my other ones. Oh well, not the end of the world. Lovely models though.

Im looking forward to finishing it- seems never ending. Every time I think Im almost done, I remember some more bits I need to do. 

Biggest challenge is going to be the rice paddies.

They are twice the size, they belong to the prosperous farmers within the settlement (don'tchuknow!) and are one up on the Jones...

Haven't you realised that no wargames project is ever finished? I'm still adding to forces I painted thirty years ago. There's always room for a heavy-weapons platoon, or some recon vehicles, or a battalion of grenadiers etc. etc. Once you realise this life becomes so much easier. 

Oh, and great buildings BTW.

Test rice paddy- fairly happy with how it came out, the water looks a wee bit more glossy in real life. Now to do the other 6 of them...
