I have asked for plenty of help from this forum, so I thought I'd post some photos to show the help was not in vein  :)
They may not be perfect but I love them!  :D

Well done - really like the basing!   What rules have you decided to use?

Excellent, nice to see bases which match the table as well.  Will we be seeing any of them in the Painting Comp?   :D

Thanks for the great comments :) at the moment the rules I using are black powder and just about to have a go at principles of war that I got dirt cheap from eBay, not the correct basing according to rules but reckon it still be ok?

Not sure I quite ready to enter any painting competitions just yet:)

GordonY

as cheap as 49p????

Thats what I paid for my Principles of War Colonial.  ;D

Hence the Mahdist order Leon.

I don't think it's a question of competitive brushwork, my own entry proves that, it's more about being active in and supporting the forum. If you're confident to post in the photos section, unlike a good many of us, then take a good pic of one of your best elements or units and enter it. There's nothing to lose.

Thank you for your kind words, a very valid point and one well worth thinking about!     You know I might just do that:)
