This is the 3rd French Chasseurs Regiment, Wagram, 1809.  The uniform is all dark green with scarlet collars and scarlet stripe down the side of the leg.  I reversed the colors on the bugler, black saddle cloth and grey mount.  The Chasseurs are light cavalry, good for taking on other light cavalry, skirmishers or flanking artillery.  Also good for pursuit but not so good for taking on heavy cavalry.

These are some horse archers from the late roman line.  I am using them as mercenary horse archers for the crusader timeframe.   They can fight for the Byzantines, the Turks, almost anyone.
