I made some BKC movement-ruler-type-thingies out of 6mm dowel for my participation game today. Some over enthusiastic tape measure "thwip" resulted in a few jungle palm casualties and the drastic shortening of a US marine's rifle barrel during a recent (solo, so I've no one to blame!!) playtest.

...the trees will grow back, and the marine has been placed on furlough until a replacement weapon can be found...
