Hi Fellas
This may have been asked before, but Humour me..................Has anybody tried Quick shade from Army Painter on 10mm. I have been considering using it on my figures but have been reluctant to try. Is it a little thick for such a small scale. Any photos would be a great help

I use Army painter on just about all my models. I use Soft tone for whites & light colours and dark tone for everything else. The trick is to brush it on & then 'suck' excess off with the brush. Others say use cheap acrylic wood stain for the same effect but I've found that tends to leave an even stain colour all over the model while the slower drying Army painter collects in folds etc & doesn't distort the base colours so much. But each to his/her own.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

They do look pretty good. Think I'll avoid dipping them though LOL

Hope it woeks out for you :-)
I bought some cheap 54 mm WWII plastic soldiers from a Poundshop & used them as a test bed to see how the effect looked on different colours. Saves messing up your precious minis.
