Beaufort

There was a film on TV the other night Called Beaufort about the Israeli withdrawl from Lebanon.  Even thought being a wargamer I don`t tend to like war films ( started with just about any WW2 film using american tanks as panzers). But I was was really impressed with this Israeli film they had a real merkava, a zelda and a centurion apc type thingy with a funny looking glass turret. It was claustrophobic, sad and down right scary near the end. It did have a few cliches ( soldier singing a sad song on his bontempi and you sort of knew who was going to cop it) But I must say it was a cracking film.
