Which means in any decent ruleset such tanks as Maus et al do get a movement penalty :P

I partly agree with Ian. The concept was obsolete from the start. But besides the Model being available I would prefer to buy it in metal from Pendraken than to go elsewhere.

Of course such specialities are not on the top of the agenda -fair enough- but they should have a place. For me the Maus incorporates the futility and waste of ressources of that period of time in Germany. Designs such as the E - Tanks would indeed more practicall both for military use as for being further up in the priority list.

I know there are also 6mm variants of those (Maus, E100 etc) but again I would prefer to buy from Pendraken.

Thanks for the requests Roland.  On the Bolt Shooters, the High Elf ones should work OK with a darker styled paintjob: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/FHE9-p4950/

With Drow, what differences would you see in them?  More robed style, hidden face figures?  Could be a conversion project for someone?  ;)

The Maus won't be on the plans anytime soon unfortunately, for two reasons.  Firstly, the costs of the master would make it almost impossible to make anything back on it.  Secondly, with the model available in 1:144th, people do have a realistic option outside of us, so it's not a model which is completely uncatered for in the 10mm market.

I'll make a note of the other requests though.

Drow -for me- are a bit like the Telvanni of TES 3 but eben more seclusive. Hiding from others etc.

Robes sound good as a starter. Drow would not wear any armour, they would rely on swift approach, stealthyness and merciless close combat.
Which means daggers, magic and stealth maybe something like shurikensand knife throwing over short distances.

I am by no means an expert in Drow but the idea just got stuck. What I REALLY want is Dragons, Dragons and Dragons for the Dark Elves.
Another interesting thought is some creatures "made" by Dark Elves. Forged my black magic, torture and such...

Maus was, and is totally imparcticle, there are many more important vehicles which should be done - such as Chaffee, Centurion, M26, and Korean War Chinese infantry.

Ancient ranges could do with more officer types, in fact some (Arabs) could do with any mounted figures.

Hear, hear, for Chinese. Especially with handguns, flamethrowers, jingals, gunshields, triple-barreled matchlocks, tridents, and wheelbarrow rocket-firers.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

We've got a few varieties of dragons in the ranges, and there's also the Dragon-rider in the Men section, which could easily pass for a Dark Elf if you wanted.
