Everyone:

Well, almost 9 months to the day of the fire, we moved into our new house.

Front View (I standing where the old house used to sit.)

Back View

The yard has been cleaned up, graded and seeded but I don't have any recent pictures.

Here's a direct link to see the completed inside of the house.  I took these photos the morning before we started moving in.

Within the next 2 weeks construction will begin on the 'War room'.  I'll post more photos when that work begins.

Again, thank you to everyone for your kind words and encouragement.  They meant a lot to myself and my family.

Sincerely,
Dale

Great news. The wonderful thing about planting gardens is that once in they do most of the hard work themselves and don't make any noise about it - unlike the builders.  :D
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

To a true gamer, the entire house is the games room!

The dedicated gaming room will be in the basement.  The wife also gets her dedicated sewing room plus we will have guest quarters.  Work on those will begin within the next two weeks.  I hope to have a workspace setup by the end of the year and a table (8 x 6 or 7 x 5) by February 2012. :)

Excellent news Dale, thanks for updating us on the progress.  The house looks fantastic, you must be over the moon with it.  And you'll be in for the holidays, which is a nice bonus!   :-bd
