Hi,

Does anyone actually game this conflict? Yes, I appreciate there are figures available but I can't find any wargame battle reports anywhere online.
I've read about the historical battles, but does anyone actually play it?

I wonder if, like many periods, folk are maybe buying the lead but that it's never actually making it to the tabletop?

Of course, you might all prove me wrong...

Cheers,

Geoff.

I've not seen any table pics myself yet, but I've spoken to quite a few people at shows who've painted armies up for it.  It'd be nice to see some in action though.

I've certainly gamed Battles from this conflict on a number of occasions. We used Principles of War or Black Powder and used scenarios based on the Battle of Tacna, the Battle of Dolores and the odd transplanted ACW scenario. It all worked out very nicely and I anticipate some further gaming in the not too distant future.

I have painted figures for other people from this range but never gamed it, although I do think it would be an interesting war to fight, especially uniform wize.
