Hello Folks,

I thought I would join your friendly forum so that I could put in some requests for new figure types. I have also decided that my life will not be complete unless I get some Pendraken Napoleonic figures.

I must say I have been pondering 10mm Napoleonics for a few years now but have never taken the plunge as no one seems to do full ranges. However it looks like the 1809 range is going to be spot on, and the figures look superb, I will start as soon as both sides have artillery.

I started many years ago with 25mm metal figures in most periods, then replaced them (put them in the attic  :-[) with 15mm. I tried 6mm WW2 and modern but find them lacking in visual appeal. I moved to 10mm WW2 a few years ago and like them a great deal. I’ve been assuming I would eventually move to 10mm Napoleonics (I’ll need a bigger attic) but have never been completely happy with the ranges available.

I live in Leicester but work all over the country. I am primarily a war-gamer and amateur historian and I love turning military history into war-game rules.

I’m another mature war-gamer and have been a Pendraken fan for many years. I like the infantry a lot and find them easier to paint than other makes.

I also am a mature gamer, ie an old git who's been wargaming since 1967. The way Pendraken are developing these days I wouldn't wait for the full range to be produced. Get stuck in with some cavalry and infantry. By the time you've painted, based and varnished I imagine those guns will be available. Otherwise you risk facing the inevitable unpainted lead mountain. Good to have you on board. Cheers

Thanks, but that is my always my problem. I already have many mountains of unpainted lead. It's a problem, of focus. Already it has wondered somewhat. My eldest is studying the ECW and has asked we get out the 15mm TYW figures I have. So this weekend we converted our Napoleonic rules to to TYW/ECW and had a bash. He said they were great (bless him) but I found them not quite right. So I am knawing away at the solution as I write this, and also thinking that I would be tempted with a 10mm version if I could find suitable Cabbalos Corraza and Musketeer cavalry for Spanish and French armies.

I can work without Austrian cavalry initially, I'd just use French hussars until they were ready, but i do have to have some discipline so I'll wait for the artillery.

Cheers
