Hi all, been browsing the web which is always a dangerous thing for me to do, and came across the "If the lord spares us" rules. Ok I'm a sucker and went and bought them, but here's where I need Leon's info and maybe a few others suggestions. Obviously I'm gonna be using Pendraken figures, but looking at the WW1 Mid Eastern range, I'm coming up with a couple of questions, 1) do the Infantry/Cavalry have any command? 2) suggestions for some spiffy looking higher command figures? 3) any suggestions to use as signallers, guys with semaphore flags, heliographs etc.

Fast replys welcome guys as I'm itching to get an order baged off.

Oh and Leon, my Austrians arrived today, you need better piccies of these guys, they look soo much better in the flesh.

Steve J

The Boer War Brits may have heliographs etc.

Yes they do.

There's the ones listed, BP22 (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/BP22-p3882/) and you could also use the officer with binocs in the East Africa range, NEA1 (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/NEA1-p4061/)

3) any suggestions to use as signallers, guys with semaphore flags, heliographs etc.

As SteveJ says, there's the heliographs in the Boer range, BW25 (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/BW25-p3840/).  Only other thing which may be of use is the chap with the field telephone, code WW3 (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/WW3-p4067/)

They do indeed!  We're looking at shrinking the website images slightly, so they look better.

Hello GordonY

Quote2) suggestions for some spiffy looking higher command figures?

I would also recommend the mounted generals and officers from the Brit. Boer war range as being particularly spiffing! Chin chin

Hi Gordon

I am getting into this range via my Inter War Latin American adventure.  Will keep an eye for what you are looking for.  As Dickie 255 says, the Boer war range is outstanding for neat figures
