Falling Skies

Did anyone start watching Falling Skies on the FX channel last week?

Excellent aliens, and potential for a good series, though a bit cliched. Part 2 tomorrow.

Put it on but it did not hold my attention at all not entirely sure why though.

wish they were fighting zombies instead of quite cute (for an alien anyway) space invaders.

Still watched it and thought it was ok.

I would have liked to see a bit of the battle which destroyed earths armies as I don`t really hate the aliens enough yet.

Just reminded me of 'V' which they cancelled just as it started to get interesting.

Lesson there though - if you're just getting interesting at the end of series 2 what the monkey's nut have you been doing for 2 series?!?

It's got to grip the audience from the first minutes episode one surely?

Got to say Falling Skies didn't really grip me.

Sadly I agree ........ but I'll keep watching cos I'm a sucker for big shiny alien armoured beasties with multiple laser targeting
