I'm starting to read the "Jerusalem" rules for AVBCW and in the communications section great emphasis is placed on telephones.

Can you add a telephone box to the wishlist?

Also telegraph poles?

Also post box, obviously too slow for tactical battlefield communication, but it would look nice!!

Any other 20s/30s street furniture?

Or is this kind of thing available from model railway sites?

Police boxes - also for Sci-Fi, which would give another pack or two of a certain medical charater.

"Jerusalem" also mentions the need for a "medic" so a medical character (with an assistant?).  Do medics normally wear long flowing scarves?

republic of tolworth

There is plenty of street furnature out there.

Look for N guage railway stuff, it's got loads of options. I've even found a full cricket team and a hunt with hounds :D 8)

I think it's kestrel that do the telegaph poles, about £3 for 10 or so. I've got them and they do add a little to the feel of 30s Britain. Infact they have been a battlefield objective before, cut the comms.

Have you got a link for those?  It's not something we'll be producing anytime soon, so it'd be good to know where to get them.

The police box is part of the Hornby "Lyddle End" range of N gauge

Although I am currently unable to determine whether it is bigger on the inside than the outside!!

I've also come across RAC telephone boxes and patrols and AA telephone boxes and patrols....

Assuming the RAC would declare for the king, would the AA remain neutral or side with the republic????

Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!

Hurrah

Hows about 2 for the price of 1?

The most common inter war armoured fighting vehicle and a big export earner.

The Russian T 27 tankette

Without the roof, its' a Carden Lloyd MG carrier

If it is possible, do it with the removable roof like the Spanish civil war republican truck SCV3 you'll have every option covered.

Also with the T-26 out, you are just a turret away from a Vickers 6 tonner

In 1938 alone, 30 would be delivered.

Vickers 6tonner = Polish 7TP, and others....very useful vehicle.
