Plus it has the name Warhammer in the name, which pretty much means it sucks. It'll be the same old mid 70s rules with "special" rules for each and every unit in the game. If its based on the web-rules they were trying out a year or two back, be prepared for a few historical inaccuracies. The one game I was suckered into saw a Panzerfaust firing at twice the range of a rifle, why, because thats what they do in 40k.

My tuppence worth, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

But it also has "Kampfgruppe" in the title a sure fire way to ensure huge sales  :D

Luddite

£48 and 348 pages of rules.

Dear Lord on a bike sideways.  The plot has seriously been lost by the people pushing this nonsense out.

And of course the serious flaw of not aiming at the excellent 10mm figures ranges.   ;)

Way to pricey - has a pile of photos in, however they seem stuff I have seen before, however I did do my dissertation on the Normandy landings
Sometimes I wonder - why is that frisbee geting bigger - and then it hits me!

Crock.

It'll be 40k in WW2 - just as they did with WW1...

And £48? For a book? Oh. Dear.

Kill me now - as they must know that enough people will buy this to make their required profit. And it's for one tiny bit of WW2...meaning that we'll no doubt have Kampfgruppe Iwo Jima at some point  :P

Actually, I take it all back. It's genius. Of the highest order. :o

Nosher

Hang on :o

I have spotted a gap in the market :)

How about 'Kampfgruppe North Atlantic' - Sea Battles in the raging and tempestous seas of the North Atlantic. Includes rules for submarines and the Kraken.

OR

'Kampfgruppe Malta' - re-fight the heroic battle between the islanders of Malta, the matelot's of the Royal Navy and the Luftwaffe and Regio Aeronautica. Includes rules for seige warfare.

Now off to speak to the copywriters before GW get their hands on my idea :D
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.
