Hello from Bavaria

Hello everyone,

the smaller the better.. after some unfruitful attempts at 28mm i finally got my hands on 10mm miniatures, which must be the perfect scale for wargaming.
And well..here i am 
At the moment I'm working on my 1809 Austrians, Sassanid Persians and (as soon as pendraken ship my latest order) AWI with a focus on the German foces involved. Future plans (hopefully) comprise the French Revolutionary Wars and LoA (go Pendraken  ).

Well that's true, but people tend to take that for granted. I spent several weeks in Vietnam last year and realized that people there felt quite indifferent towards the beauty surrounding them (eg at Halong Bay). Back at home I noticed that I'm actually no better

Welcome to the forum - lots of folk with plenty of good tips to pick up re. 10mm gaming. I too like Bavaria having holidayed there a number of times over the last 40 years.

Bavaria is beautiful indeed. So is Halong Bay. I had the pleasure of crusing the bay on a type of junk some ten years ago. The area is beautiful beyond description and life is so simple once you're on a boat. In the afternoon we would anchor near one of the islands and dive for crabs, which were then grilled and served with Tiger beer. Mmm, memories...

Anyway, welcome to the club.
