Austrian 10-pdr of 1866

Sadly, none in the 1866 Austrian line.  I am thinking of a reasonable proxy to get the size right, perhaps the 10-pdr parrot from the FPW range (with Austrian crew, of course) but I weclome alternate suggestions if anyone had seen the elusive Austrian 10-pdr RML

All i can suggest are the guns in the American Civil War range, you've probably already looked there!

There's this in the ACW line - no idea if it's the same/ similar to the 1866 version.

Rather puzzled! I had thought I knew the war of 1866 pretty well, but I cannot recall an Austrian 10pdr, only 4 and 8pdrs. Have I missed something? HELP!!!!

Are we sure someone isn't using a British pound measurement where 8 Austrian pounds @ 0.56kg (so about 10lb UK)?

I'm baffled too, not something I've come across. There were some 12cm M1860 La Hitte 12pdr rifled muzzle loading cannons that had been relegated to fortress artillery in 1863 (still in use in 1918!), which were converted M1859 smoothbores.
Standard field pieces from 1863 appear to be the 3pdr mountain, 4pdr, 8pdr Lenk M1863 rifled muzzle loaders, firing shells of 6.6lbs, 8lbs and 14.5lb respectively in diameters 7cm, 7.82cm and 8.64cm respectively.

If there were others please let us all know.

You are right, it was an 8pdr.  I was looking at the 10pdr parrot as "close enough and visibly different"

The 4pdr and 8pdr look pretty much the same. Unfortunately the Summerfield book doesn't give the sizes of the 8pdr piece, only the 4pdr

the barrel lengths are given though, 140cm for the 4pdr, and 168cm for the 8pdr. At 1/150 scale (if that is what Pendraken have used in this range) then it would be 1.8mm longer barrel.
