OK ... red - Aphrodite's Avengers; blue - Athene's Aegis-bearers ; Purple - Hera's Heroines; Green Artemis's Ares-kickers 

Plan f replace Artemis with Eris, Goddess of Strife whose colour was black.

Light troops can be dedicated to Artemis, and wear green.

Seems more appropriate.

First "legion" done. The "Red" legion. Starting the second the "blue" legion. Also going to do a yellow and a black. Thinking of naming them "Fire", "Water", "Sun" and "Night" or something more romantic than just the colour.

Lovely figures to paint , even getting quite good at putting on the shield decals.

Great work on these - and very speedy too - they were only announced a month ago!

I have been keenly awaiting their appearance. I may have mentioned it once or twice.   

Also, I took this week off work so had plenty time to paint.

I do think I recall the odd mention of Amazons, not more than once or twice a week 

If you painted them last week, you were doing well not to have the paint dry on your brush.

Amazons so far - 4 x 72 hoplite units - dedicated to Aphrodite, Hera, Athene and Eris (who popped down from Olympus to have a gander, but respectfully kept behind the fences). Each hoplite unit has a 36  strong peltast unit attached, and some priestesses giving spiritual comfort.



Hoping to add Artemis's skirmishers and mayhap some cavalry dedicated to Demeter at some point.
