Getting a bit irritated by being greeted by the 'forever' login option whenever I log on, accepting it, and then being faced with it every time I log on! If I cannot log on forever, can we delete it as an option?

Are you clearing your cookies daily or something similar?  :-/

That's about the only thing that logs me out :-\
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

It leaves me in untill I delete cookies. The Unread posts does occasionally tell there are none, when there are. Phil occasionally has same problem I understand.

Apologies, that's the total extent of my ability to provide technical assistance  :(

So that others may be able to help, what browser are you using?
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

I have my browser set to delete cookies when I close the browser so I sign in every time. It only takes seconds, so no problem as far as I'm concerned.

It is possible that whatever browser you use is doing a similar auto-delete, in which case there should be a setting you can toggle in tools/ preferences/ settings or whatever your browser calls such things.

Of course, having done plenty of IT support in my time, it may be something completely different!  =) :-\ :(

Thanks for trying to help! I am too technically incompetent to explore these routes!  It is a minor inconvenience, and I shall continue to put up with it.

As I have said many a time while trying to offer IT support to clients, friends and colleagues,"This is designed to be so easy an eight year old could use it ... but somehow there's never an eight year old around when you need one!"

;D ;D ;D ;D

Also there is - Never to time, never to cost, never work and never original.

Settings, on most browsers its at the extreme right of the top bar, will give you a load of options.

"Have you turned it off and on?"

If you have, that makes me a little more certain that something is set to auto-clear cookies.

NTM

If the feature is removed you'll still be logging in every time just without the potential disappointment of not staying in
