Having already bored you with my standard intro to the forum in another thread I'll skip that. :)

Huddersfield you say. I spent most of my teenage years in Leeds so know (well, knew) it well. Leeds has changed a lot, I dare say Huddersfield has too.

I still treasure a set of three brass Yorkshire monkeys I bought in Huddersfield which have an inscription on the chunk of bronze they are sitting on that reads "Hear All, See All, Say Nowt; Eat Ell, Drink All, Pay Nowt!" A scurrilous slur on the good folk of Yorkshire that makes me smile nonetheless.
