Had some good feedback from a tester in the UK on the rules

Revised the rules in response to most of the feedback, discussions continue on some of the other feedback

Painting progress on this project has stalled as I focus on writing the rules

I'm making good progress on the rules and getting good feedback from the play testers

I'll soon be starting to create navy lists and I'm hoping the forum can point me at a range of navy lists on the Internet for different rulesets that I can compare my efforts to

Also, Tim from LaserCast kindly included some free boats and buildings with my order. I'm hoping the forum can offer some suggestions on the type of roofing that would have been used for buildings in a small fishing village in Greece in 380-350 BCE as well as colours to paint the walls

White walls, terracotta roof tiles

Some houses may have had gf Alf height of a man banding in the walks, others pastel colours all the way.

Thanks Duke Speedy, I'll need to find some appropriate corrugated cardboard when the time comes to assemble the buildings

If the "ripples" in the corrugated card are too big, you could use this "Ian Weekley" technique.

He would glue lengths of ordinary white string next to each other, trim the ends and wash with thinned down Tetrion. When dry, paint with terracotta and then dry brush with lighter shades to get the sun-bleached look.

I got back to a bit more painting :)  :)

The triremes and lembos had had one coat on their hulls, I did the second, and have now done the first coat on their oars

Now that I have found an alternative to Imgur, thanks Fred, here are the last of this project.

Three units of merchant ships and two units of large Myriophoroi merchant ships, plus six bases of coastal ships and boats as scatter for the table. Tim from LaserCast was kind enough to include the coastal ships, boats and some buildings as a gift with my order. One of the 'villages' I created with the buildings and some spare crew can be seen below in a recent game.
