QuoteAnd how did it go?  :)

My first game.
Vietnam
A company of U.S. Marines need to establish a firebase on a hill designated Benjamin.
The hill had a small village at its base with rice paddies on either side. Around the hill were jungles.
The Americans advanced toward the rice paddies and slowly drove off the local VC. The Regular Vietnamese army maneuvered to see where the Americans were going to go. Their mortars were doing a fine job of keeping the Yankee pig-dogs down.
The American off board 105s did their job and handily took out two VC commanders (HQ units)
The Vietnamese got some bad rolls.
On the nightly news: 30 American troops were killed. 270 Vietcong were killed. And 2 South Vietnamese died when their jeep hit a buffalo.
