Tried "Clash of Steel" on Thursday. Brits vs Germans. two games playing each side. Brits with 3 Cent 1 (calm down Nobby), 3 Cromwell and 2 Tortoise, Germans 2 Maus and 3 Tiger II. Germans lost both times. System worth looking at.

The Sellswords of Traitors Toll.

Sunjester and I found Guards of Traitors Toll a bit clunky. SJ has worked on marrying the background and ideas to Sell Swords and Spell Slingers.

Worked well, moved faster, and felt involved, despite the flammability of thatched roofs.

Original Blue Book, or the 2nd Edition hardback?
We played 2nd Ed quite a bit a couple of years back, enjoyable, but a touch fiddly. It became a problem when we tried expanding to include too many VSF contraptions. I'm still looking for something that will large scale skirmish with half a dozen (or more) vehicles.

Been years since we played IHMN (v1, though I have the new hardback book too). We had some fun games, not sure all the forces where that balanced, the Egyptians with a super tough boss and some rubbish cultists were a bit hard to play, especially vs European forces with quite a lot of military rifles. 

One of the most fun was a scenario with a closing in sandstorm, where both forces were tying to escape on the same boat!

Didn't try the vehicle rules, though.
