We've got a load of new releases for you this month, along with some big news!




WWII Artillery Expansion

After a ton of work and a lot of new moulds, we've finally completed our planned upgrades to all of our WWII artillery ranges.  We thought this might add a few new items here and there, but we've actually ended up with 157 new codes, with all nations except French, Polish and Soviet getting new crew figures.

We've got a massive expansion of the Italian offering, with new guns and crews there. The Germans have got the biggest expansion with all of the different crews now available with both the existing and some new artillery pieces. The Finns, Hungarians and Romanians all get a big boost with 10-20 pieces added to each of those ranges.  And even the Brits, US, Poles and Soviets have picked up a few extras too.

We'll be adding all crew figures as separate codes soon as well, to allow folks to buy extras to man other guns.






We're taking a break from the shows in 2026!

We've been taking a look at the viability of the shows for a while now and we've decided to take a break from the show circuit in 2026.  Between me and Dave we've been attending them for 33 years now, racking up about 600 events between the two of us!

This is mainly due to the health issues I've explained on our Forum here, but also because the cost of attending the shows (cost of sales, hotels, stands and travel), plus the annual cost of the van, means that there's very little left for the time and effort that goes into them.  This year we'll be away for 29 days in total, and we'll spend a similar amount of time getting the van packed/unpacked before and after the events, so it's 2 months of the year in total.

As many folks will be aware, we've got a huge backlog of projects here so we'll be able to use our time focus on those, along with a myriad of other exciting things:

- Getting all of the new releases sorted and out there.
- Running events in the shop more regularly.
- Getting some extra income streams in place, like new lines in the shop or rules expansions.
- Building our online presence through YouTube.
- Maybe attending some shows with just a game, to demo some of our rulesets.

Terrain Bases now available!

We've been producing these as custom jobs for ages now so we thought it was about time to get them added to the website!

There are 5 different pack sizes available, with each pack containing a variety of irregular shapes.  The larger ones could be woods or built-up areas, mediums could be ponds or swamps, while the smaller ones could be rocky outcrops, camps, or objective markers.

The smaller/medium/large are cut from 2mm MDF and roughly fill an A4 space, while the extra large and extra/extra large cover a 600x300mm area, and are in 3mm MDF for a bit more strength.  You can find these in our Bases section here.




Updated 2025 Catalogue now available!

With this latest batch of WWII Artillery codes it's about time we updated our online PDF catalogue and you can download the latest version here.




Four Shows Left This Year!

After our news above about the 2026 show season, it means that we've only got 4 shows left on the calendar for this year.  We'll be hitting the Midlands next with Partizan in Newark on Sun 12th Oct, followed by Fiasco in Leeds on Sun 26th Oct.  And to finish off the year we'll be making the journey down south to Warfare in Farnborough on Sat 15th/Sun 16th Nov, followed by our own local show, Battleground in Middlesbrough, on Sat 29th Nov.

We hope you can make it to one of these events and see us before we take our break!
