I have stored quite a lot of my wargames collection in Card/wood Box Files.  I do not like the plastic ones

Just been looking to purchase some 45mm Deep (spine) Slimline box files. Now they are significantly thinner than the standard Bbox file of 75mm ............But why the heck are they more than twice the price?

Also since the demise of Staples I can only seem to find them in bulk buys of 10. I Only want 5 max

10 slimline files from Viking are just over £45. The 75mm ones are only £25, and to add insul;t to injury, you can buy them individually  >:(  >:(  >:(

Unfortunately all I can do is confirm this is what I have found.

As such I've pretty much moved away from box files to Really Useful Boxes with MDF tray inserts in them. It's a bit more expensive, but the density of figures is higher, and the consistency of the storage is much higher.

With box files there are two sizes as well as the two depths and I've acquired a few of the bigger ones without really noticing, until they are all stacked together and it can become quite hard to fit ones in or out of the stack.
