Downloaded the freebie on kindle - not impressed with it but not played it. Both BKC and Battlegroup look much better. Does depend what you want. Lots of peps play bolt action I find it unplayable.

I looked at these a while ago - don't recall much about them beyond they didn't inspire me enough to get them on the table

I blow hot and cold with BKC - was a big fan, then moved away. But we do keep coming back to them - they are one of the rule sets that let you get lots of combined arms troops on the table and get through a game in a sensible time.

I've enjoyed reading a couple of the early war documents. A quick potted history and some ideas about how you might portray (e.g.) 4th RTR within a game.

No interest in the rules - I already have enough rulesets I don't use, don't need another ;) .
