Those photos are very much evidence of the scale creep over the years

If you keep rolling ones your plan won't help. But given it was a narrow Elven victory in the end, how big a win would you have had with average dice rolls?

If I had averaged out, I would have squashed the chaos knights in a turn, and then swung my knights into his foot, saving my bows and mage.
It was a great plan, until it involved rolling dice!
