Good evening gentlemen.

I am looking for quiz questions about Scotland,  BUT they must cast our northern brothers... negatively.

For instance.

"The last Scottish rebellion ended with the battle of Culloden.  In which year was this?"
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Which scheme nearly bankrupted Scotland at the beginning of the eighteenth century and led to Union with England?

The Darien Scheme - attempted establishment of the colony of New Caledonia in what is now Panama. 80% of the colonists died of various illnesses including Yellow fever, and the place was abandoned twice. How does this sound

What was the ultimate outcome of the failure of the Darien Scheme in the early 18th century?

The Darien scheme was a failed attempt for Scotland to establish a colony in Panama. The cost of its failure is cited as the reason for Union with England.

Not sure that's a good idea  given the way the battle of Culloden went for the Scots.

Mind you given the current state of the British Armed Forces we could probably only afford to send a coachload of Infantry , An 18pdr and a Tiger Moth. Oh and we might be able to send one of our shiney new  aircraft carriers ( Can they be called that given that don't seem to have a full complement of aircraft) but they would probably break down before getting to Newcastle.
